Graduation Ceremony

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to equip first-generation and immigrant students with the mentorship, knowledge, and opportunities they need to thrive in higher education and beyond.

The FGD Scholars Program empowers low-income students who identify as first-generation college students, immigrants, or first-generation Americans to succeed in higher education. Selected scholars are paired with mentors in their field of interest for personalized guidance and resources at each stage of their academic journey. In addition, we host free webinars and workshops for all high school students on topics such as navigating the college application process, financing your education, and discovering prestigious opportunities.

TRANSFORMING LIVES

We believe education has the power to change the trajectory
of a student’s life. Through mentorship and resources, we open doors
to opportunities that once felt out of reach.

DEDICATED SUPPORT

Our mentors walk alongside students at every stage of their journey, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical tools to navigate challenges with confidence.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

By uplifting first-generation students, we strengthen entire families and communities, creating ripple effects that extend far beyond the classroom.

EMPOWERING POTENTIAL

We champion the potential of students who have been excluded from opportunities and resources, equipping them with the tools and confidence to turn aspirations into achievement.

LASTING CHANGE

By increasing college access and career readiness for first-generation and immigrant students, we create pathways that lead to upward mobility for individuals, families, and communities.

Support firsts.
Shape the future.
